Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Coco is a 3-year-old hound mix that came to us on August 17th. Despite her unfortunate past, she has always been a ray of sunshine. She greets everyone as if they're already her best friend and will affectionately lean on you for pets. She is a lap dog at heart and will happily spend her time cuddling with you on the couch.
She loves chews and squeaky toys, and she loves playing fetch! We sometimes catch her throwing toys up in the air by herself or making funny noises as she throws them around. She can definitely keep herself (and you) entertained! She is also potty trained, treat motivated, and knows "sit".
If you're looking for a sweet, goofy companion, Coco is a wonderful pick for you. She is a happy-go-lucky, medium energy hound with a surefire way to brighten up your day! We are surprised that no one has come to visit her yet.
Though she hasn't been formally tested with other dogs, she did come to the shelter with a male dog. He was recently adopted, so now it's Coco's turn. With female dogs, she has a more dominant personality, so we think she'd do better with a male dog or a submissive/playful female! If you have a dog, we always suggest scheduling a meet and greet.
Come down to the shelter during opening hours to meet this sweet girl!
