Name: Elsie
Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier
Age: 2 1/2 years old
Background: Elsie was found wandering around Cornelius, NC and the owner did not want to reclaim her.
Personality: Elsie is super sweet and energetic. She is a happy and friendly girl! She loves meeting new people and treats strangers like they're her new BFFs. She previously lived with other dogs - at the shelter, she tested well with another male dog but did not do well with the female dog. We always recommend a meet and greet, though! She doesn't bark or whine much at all and appears house trained, as she hasn't had any accidents in her kennel.
Ideal Home: Elsie would do great with an active home or a home with a fenced in backyard. She would make a great walking buddy! We also recommend grown children in the home, as she's a jumper.
Final Thoughts: It is important to note that she is HW+ and is currently taking inexpensive antibiotics for it.
