My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Thelma, a 3 month old female Basenji and Italian Greyhound Mix. My sister Louise and I were rescued from a place selling puppies in Anza. I'm a playful pup who can't resist squeaky and crinkly toys. Now, I'm at a great rescue, eager to find a forever family who shares my love for toys and adventure. Come by and meet me and all my other friends at Lovejoy and see if we have a connection.

We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Sometimes exceptions are made in a particular situation for an adopter further out than 30 miles which is at the discretion of the director.
