My story

Hi, I'm Bear, a 2 year old pit mix looking for my forever home! I love playing with other dogs, getting pets from my foster humans, and going potty outside like a good boy! I'm also loving learning new tricks and manners in my training sessions.

Before Samson's Sanctuary rescued me, I was in rough shape. I was so hungry and scared living as a stray, and to make it worse, I had just been hit and dragged by a car and was in desperate need of medical attention. But luckily, I underwent surgery for my broken leg and am healing up great! I've had multiple great follow up appointments and am feeling better than ever.

Boy has my life changed a lot in the last few of months! I now get to live in a house with some paw-some foster parents and doggy siblings, but I can't wait to find my FUR-EVER home! Could that be with you?

Samson's Sanctuary is a 501c3 non profit animal rescue based out of Los Angeles, but rescuing around the world! We work with local shelters to help rehab the "harder to adopt" cases as well as with our partner rescue to rescue dogs from the illegal meat trades overseas.
