My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tyler: Your Bundle of Joy Awaits

TYLER’S STORY:

Tyler is a delightful, pint-sized puppy bursting with love and puppy enthusiasm. He recently came into our care as an owner surrender, along with his equally charming sister, Skyler, who has already found her forever home. Now, Tyler patiently waits for his own forever family to shower him with love. At 12 weeks old and approximately 3lbs, Tyler is a Chipoo mix, though there might be a dash of terrier in there as well. Please note that Tyler is not considered hypoallergenic, so if you have allergies, he may not be the right fit for you.

TYLER’S PERSONALITY:

Tyler's foster family can't stop singing his praises. He's a remarkably sweet and gentle boy who thrives on human companionship. Tyler firmly believes in the magic of snuggles and cherishes every moment he spends cuddled up with you. Leaving him alone for extended periods is not recommended, as you'd miss out on these precious cuddle sessions.

Tyler is doing exceptionally well and is a happy little guy. He's an excellent sleeper, usually drifting off by 9 p.m. and waking up around 7.30 in the morning. While he may need a nighttime bathroom break occasionally, he's quick to go back to sleep. His pee pad training for urination is progressing nicely, although he's still perfecting the art of handling poops. Understanding his schedule is crucial as he continues to learn the ropes of house training.

Tyler is a very friendly and outgoing pup. If you step out of the room and return, no matter how short the absence, he'll eagerly run over to greet you. He has a penchant for slippers and shoelaces, so keep an eye on your footwear! Tyler also loves to nibble at toes, making closed-in sandals your best bet. His eyes light up with joy at the sound of squeaky toys, and he's quite proud when he makes them squeak. Surprisingly, we have yet to hear him bark! He adores people and will become your cuddly best friend in an instant, regardless of whether he's met you before.

Tyler is a little foodie, sometimes sitting by the fridge near mealtimes, eagerly awaiting his delicious meals. Now isn’t that just the cutest!

TYLER’S NEEDS:

To ensure Tyler's continued growth and happiness, he'll need a loving and dedicated family. As a young puppy, he should not be left alone for long stretches. Positive training classes will play a crucial role in shaping him into a well-behaved companion. While his foster family is diligently working on pee pad training, he'll need your guidance to master all aspects of house training.

Due to his age and vaccination status, Tyler's outdoor adventures are currently confined to the backyard, with the need for second and third sets of vaccinations in the future. He follows a structured feeding and sleeping schedule, which he's adapting to beautifully. Although he's not much of a barker, you might hear some adorable little moans from time to time.

Tyler would be OK in a home with another small, older dog that's not too rambunctious, providing him with a playmate and companion for company.
