My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Effie! Effie came to us from an overcrowded shelter with her littermates and some other friends. She did very well in her foster home and was soon adopted. Unfortunately, it turns out that she is an anxious and nervous girl, and the adopters' grandchildren were too much for her. Effie is a sweet girl with a good combination of playful and snuggly. She is a dog who would do best in a relatively quiet home without a lot of visitors. She enjoys running and playing in a fenced yard with the other dogs and just ignores the cat in her foster home. After burning off some energy playing, Effie is ready to snuggle. She's a little dog who will need some patience and understanding as she overcomes her anxiety. Due to her fear of leash-walking, we require that Effie's new home have a securely fenced yard, and she must have at least one even-tempered dog to be her buddy and help her overcome her fears. If you are interested in meeting Effie, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.
