Meet Antena!

As of 1.17.24 Beautiful Antena is available for adoption. This fantastic young doggo has the most amazing personality and demeanor. She is a teenager just under a year old and likely not full grown just yet. She is on the slender side for a shepherd and in the mid 40 pounds. She likely won't be bigger than 50 pounds when she is full grown. Antena is currently fostered at casa de ARWOB along with other foster dogs and foster kitties. She is amazing with ALL dogs big and small. She is purrfect around cats and would be an amazing new family member for an adopter who has resident dogs or cats but not a requirement. Since she was rescued she has always been fostered in a home with other pets but believe she will be fine as an only pet if need be, however, we would want to make sure her future forever human is looking for a dog whom they will continue to keep socialized aroukd other dogs to make sure she is happy having doggy playtime/play dates.

Antena is a healthy girl with no medical issues. She is crate and potty trained. Mostly house trained but we recommend baby gates are used! Ha ha
as a normal teen she May be interested in chewing things she shouldn't but if she has toys and chewing benabones or chewing type items she learns easy stay 'honest'

Antena adores humans adults and children alike.  She enjoys car rides and fetching toys. She likes all toys from squeaky to tennis balls, she doesn't discriminate on toys! Ha!
Antena has gone on a couple 5 mile hikes and is exhausted at the end of the excursion sleeping like a baby but also is content being home playing with humans or dog friends. Since she is a very intelligent dog who seeks human approval and wants nothing but please people she would thrive and do amazing during basic dog training classes. We love Antena and we know you will too!

More about this rescue

The A.R.W.O.B. group is based in San Diego, CA and operates mostly in Mexico as well as Southern California and will come to the aid of any animal in need which crosses our path. Our belief is to do what we can in order to “Make a difference in their lives.” From experience we have observed and feel the companion animals of Mexico are in the greatest need and accordingly we focus much of our efforts in Baja, Mexico. However, we certainly extend our help to our north of the border critters by accepting relinquished family pets, exiting both dogs and cats from the shelters of San Diego and of course by working in conjunction with other animal rescue groups in the community
