Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This lady has settled in nicely at her foster home. She's completed her heartworm treatment, which we thought was making her lazy, but it just so happens that's how she is all the time!
She's what many in the pitbull world like to call the "couch hippo"(it's a thing, Google it!). Although she isn't allowed on the couch in her foster home, we could certainly see her living this lifestyle in her forever home. She's a low key, low energy girl who likes to be around her people, someone who is home often would be the best match for her. Once she's done her business outside and sniffed around a little she's at the backdoor ready to be let in.
Short walks, lots of pets and love is all this girl requires. We think she would make a wonderful family dog since she's gentle, plus the more pets she can get the better!! She may possibly be dog friendly but we think she'd be best on her own. At about 5 years old she found herself dropped off at the shelter by the only family she's ever known. Coupled with her anxious personality and heartworm diagnosis she wasn't doing well in a kennel. Once in her foster home, she settled in in no time and now she's ready for the next part of her journey, her FOREVER home.
