My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Obi is a 5.5-year-old Border Collie Shepherd mix. He is up to date on vaccinations and neutered. He is kid and cat-friendly. He is kennel-trained. He would love a home where he is the only dog and he has a yard! Obi can be difficult on the leash which is why a yard would suit him best. He’s been through a lot over the years before we brought him into our family and he takes a bit of time to adjust but comes out of his shell wonderfully and loves to give all the kisses! We unfortunately had to move and our new apartment does not allow dogs his size. He is a true joy and sweetheart to have in our lives and we would love to see Obi go to a home that will cherish him as much as we have. A meet and greet will be arranged with the pet's foster parent and your family.

Sign Adoption Contract

Pay Fee

6.
Take the Pet Home

After we receive your completed Adoption Agreement and you have paid your adoption fee, your new pet may go home with you.

A home visit will be coordinated within one week of adoption.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies pulls abandoned dogs and cats from shelters and places them in loving foster homes until their forever homes are found. Our philosophy is that each pet deserves a loving home and a long, healthy, happy life. We do everything in our power to ensure pets receive the training, veterinary care, and loving attention needed.
