Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I was born in a barn and my owner surrendered to PAWS when I was about 8 weeks old. I was very scared of new people but PAWS worked with me and my sister Sandy. I am still pretty skittish but I love my foster mom (especially at feeding time!) and I get along great with other cats and well behaved dogs too. I like to play but sometimes I get excited and try to get my foster mom to play with me by touching her with my teeth (little nips she calls it) and she is trying to break me of that habit. I am trying... really! I need to find my very own forever home where I can bond closely with a great new owner. My foster mom says I need a person who is experienced with cats like me and who knows how to gently force my acclimation to a new home. Best for me would be a quiet home with no small children and lots of adult person interaction. If you are looking for a great new feline companion, I may be the girl for you! All PAWS-OK cats and kittens have been fostered in a home environment and are litter box trained, up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed or neutered and have been tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV prior to being made available for adoption. The adoption fee is $70 (cash only).Some of our cats are available for adoption at the PetSmart on NW Expressway and Rockwell in OKC. The first step in adoption is to complete an Adoption Request form which we use to help us match you with a cat or kitten that best meets your desires, experience and home environment.
