Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PRECIOUS LAYLA!!! Found abandoned out in the country. She is 40 pounds and they believe about 10 months of age. She will be spayed soon, but has already had all her vaccinations, tested negative for heartworms and is on preventative.

Layla LOVES LOVES LOVES LOVES dogs! And she has played beautifully with children, too. Because of her experiences on her own she is a little timid meeting new people. We are working on that. She is exceptionally smart and sweet!

Submit Application

Upon receiving the completed application, our review process generally takes only 1-2 days.

2.
Home Check

We bring the dog to your home for introductions to family members and other pets. We have a 10 day to 14 day trial period.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

After the trial period the dog may be adopted and the contract signed.

Additional adoption info

We have an adoption application to complete and return. Our review process generally takes 1-2 days. Upon approval we would contact you to arrange a home visit and bring the dog to meet you and your family. (If out of state, we have local groups that would contact you for a home visit without the dog.)

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-based 501c3 organization formed in 2002. Over the years, we have rescued dogs from shelters all over the state, we have taken in abandoned dogs and we have accepted dogs from owners who were unable to continue to care for their pets. Thousands of adoptable pets die each year due to overpopulation and lack of options.
