Meet Fergus & Tabitha – Resilient, Loving, and Ready for Their Forever Home

Born in March 2023, Fergus and his sister Tabitha have already lived through a remarkable journey. Abandoned by a neighbor, the two kittens were left to survive the scorching Texas heat, seeking shelter in rusted-out cars and desperately trying to find safety. Every day, they longed to get inside a nearby home—and one morning, their determination reached a dramatic peak.

As the homeowner stepped outside, Fergus and Tabitha darted behind them, clearly terrified. Standing just feet away was a red fox, frozen and staring intently at the kittens. Without hesitation, the homeowner scooped them up, and the fox leapt over the fence and disappeared. From that moment on, Fergus and Tabitha knew they were safe—and they’ve never once tried to go back outside.

These two are pure sweetness. They love being held like babies, snuggling close, and following their foster human everywhere. They’re gentle, affectionate, and get along beautifully with other cats and even a 14-year-old Pomeranian. At night, they curl up beside their foster mom, content and grateful.

Fergus and Tabitha are looking for a loving forever home where they can continue to thrive and share their warmth. Could that be with you?
