Dashing Dagwood! Just look at face!! Dagwood is a very sweet 2 year old Coonhound. He needs to gain a little weight and we are working on that now. He is friendly with people but a little selective with her doggie friends so he will have to meet all housemates before she's adopted. Dagwood needs some obedience training to help him be the best boy he can be! He was found in Westfield Township on 8/2/2023 with No Collar, No ID, No Microchip. He was found very near to the same area that the female Coonhound, Blondie, was found. Possibly they were running together and got separated. Adoption fee of $200 and includes vaccinations, rabies vaccination, worming, spay/neuter with pain injection after surgery, heartworm test for dogs over 6 months, microchip and a County Dog License.

We are the Morrow County Dog Shelter, operated by the county.
Our shelter houses stray and homeless dogs from our county. We are a small shelter with an annual intake between 250-400 dogs. Some of our available dogs go through a prison training program if they qualify.
Our adoption fee includes all basic vet care and it is completed before a dog goes to his/her new home. An adoption application is necessary for all dogs prior to an adopter being chosen.
