My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! Please meet Opal, a 2 year old Kelpie/Staffy mix. She might even have some black panther in her😂.

Opal is a sweet girl, who gets along with dogs and kids of all ages and sizes. Right now, she is living with a Great Dane puppy, a teeny 3.5 pound Chihuahua, and an 8 year old boy. All of whom she loves to cuddle and do zoomies for. When Opal is not enjoying the great outdoors, she is quietly entertaining herself while her foster mom works.

Opal was picked up by animal control as a stray. While at the shelter, she was constantly overlooked. Her beautiful eyes weren’t enough to get people to look past her color. With that said, she was past by day by day until the shelter said she had no more days left. Before she was euthanized, we were able to pull her and place her in a wonderful foster home where she is blossoming.

Home Check

Our home checks are performed virtually to ensure the safety of our dogs.

Sign Adoption Contract

Once the adoption process is finalized, you will be able to bring your new furry family member home.

Our rescue is foster based. Occasionally, we will hold adoption events at a local pet store. Please follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Tim Tok to get more information on when and where the adoptions events will be.

More about this rescue

Our goal is to decrease the number of dogs that are discarded at high kill shelters. Once one of our dogs is out of the shelter, we want ensure that they don't ever have to go back. We are fully committed to each and every dogs health and happiness. Which includes finding a forever family where our pup can be themselves and receive unconditional love.
