Adopted this sweet girl when my child was going through a difficult time and fell in love with her. We have been working with a trainer since adoption. She's smart and eager to please, VERY high energy! Because she was so friendly we were able to take her everywhere with us, to dog park daily, on long walks and hikes, and she did okay despite us not having a yard. I was in an accident which totalled my car and have had the first of a series of surgeries. Shortly before this, she got in a scuffle at a dog park and has become reactive and unpredictable with other dogs. Because I don't have a yard and am physically incapable of being as active as I was, and we cannot bring her to dog parks anymore, it has become very challenging and unsustainable. She deserves to run and play! She's a good dog, but her needs are going unmet and she's acting out.
LOVES kids, but half shepherd and does occasionally nip when playing. Resource guarding: toys. Food sensitivities. High energy. Reactive w dogs
