My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

If you are interested in any of the FFOSK9 pups,  the first step is to fill out an application at  http://www.ffosk9resq.org/info/adoption .

Rosita or also known as Rosie is the mother to eight other dogs that were surrendered to the shelter to be euthanized. Luckily someone was at the shelter and heard what was happening and stepped up to save them all even though the younger ones are between 8 months and 16 months of age.

Rosita is a very sweet and affectionate girl and  deserves to live a happy life with someone that will give her the love and attention she deserves.

Rosie loves hanging out with her humans and would love a nice warm home to spend her days lounging around inside. She just loves going on her daily walks. She rides very well in a car or just sitting with her humans. She has gone to adoption events and is very well mannered
Rosie is spayed, up to date on all her shots and has been started on monthly prevention for fleas/ticks/heartworms and parasites.
Please fill out an application to adopt @ https://www.ffosk9resq.org/
Tap on Adopt tab and then view our dogs tab where you will find the application in each description.

Adoption fee is $325 to help cover the cost of all her vetting, spay and other medical as well as vaccines, monthly preventatives and daily care,
Application must be submitted before being considered to adopt.

We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets.

We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.

More about this rescue

We are a home based, incorporated 501(c)3 non profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten unwanted pets in forever homes. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, strays, and unwanted pets prior to being euthanized. We do not adopt to outside only homes,or to anyone wanting to crop, dock or do any other alterations to their pets, except spaying and neutering. We highly recommend positive training methods once pets are placed in forever homes. All pets are completely vetted, heart worm tested and treated if necessary, brought up to date on all vaccines and rabies certificates. Also all FFOS pups are spayed/neutered prior to adoptions, except in the case of young pups, which will only be adopted with a contract to have them spayed or neutered when they are old enough. This is non-negotiable.
