Oscar is very sweet and loves to give lots of kisses like his brother Hoots!
Oscar weighs 35 pounds.Oscar is a beautiful black and gold brindle like his mother. He loves to run and play and just enjoys life! He enjoys spending time with his human as much as he can. He is very playful and plays well with the other dogs in the house.He is crate trained but prefers to sleep in his bed or with his people. Oscar spends much of his time indoors and has great house manners.

Oscar is neutered, tested negative for heartworms, up to date on all vaccines, and he has been on his monthly prevention for heartworms, flea,ticks and parasites.

Adoption Fee is $325 to help cover the cost of vetting, neuter, vaccines and preventatives as well as daily needs.
Application must be submitted prior to being considered to adopt.

We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3 organization. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets.

We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets. All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.

You must first fill out an adoption application to be considered. www.ffosk9resq.org
Our adoption fees are $275 to help cover the cost of spaying/ neutering, complete vetting, all necessary, wormers and any other medical needs. It also helps to offset the cost of food, utilities used to house our rescued dogs and puppies and other overhead costs.
In the event that you adopt a puppy that is too young for spay/neuter, a $50 payment will be made to the vet of your choice once an appointment has been scheduled.

More about this rescue

We are a home based, incorporated 501(c)3 non profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten unwanted pets in forever homes. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, strays, and unwanted pets prior to being euthanized. We do not adopt to outside only homes,or to anyone wanting to crop, dock or do any other alterations to their pets, except spaying and neutering. We highly recommend positive training methods once pets are placed in forever homes. All pets are completely vetted, heart worm tested and treated if necessary, brought up to date on all vaccines and rabies certificates. Also all FFOS pups are spayed/neutered prior to adoptions, except in the case of young pups, which will only be adopted with a contract to have them spayed or neutered when they are old enough. This is non-negotiable.
