Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Miss Dandelion - This super sweet, beautiful blue eyed girl needs a good home. She found herself dumped at a shelter weighing a very large 95lbs ! A combination of being over fed people food and looks like she has had a few litters too . Now weighing in at 65lbs she still needs to loose more weight. She is good with everything dogs, cats and kids! She would make an excellent addition to a family with a senior dog . She is very calm and has an easy personality. She needs to continue her weight loss!! Measured food, healthy snacks and short walks a few times a day to build up her stamina . Dandelion is a sweet girl who is very smart, knows basic commands and is very food motivated to learn new ones. She is crate trained. She would make a great dog for someone who is dedicated to getting their steps in everyday and keeping her active in the yard to get her back to a healthier weight. Dandelion will be attending our Adoption Event at the Chester Fairgrounds 11 Kirtland Terrace Chester, CT on Friday, Sept 29 3-5pm (Appointments Only); Saturday, Sept 30 from 9 am - 4 pm & Sunday, Oct 1st from 9 am - 3 pm. Fill out an online Application to get the adoption process started. We Approve Adopters to adopt a dog at the event but the decision on who adopts a specific dog is made by the Rescue as we want the dogs to go to a home that is a great fit for them.
