Hi! My name is Birdie and I am a 3-year-old lab mix who is very sweet and very smart. I enjoy sitting at a window or in a sunny spot in the yard watching the world go by (especially the squirrels). Being a lab, I will follow my nose wherever it leads me! I LOVE humans of all sizes from big to small. I have been known to curl myself into the tiniest ball to sleep and tuck myself into my own little nest. I DON’T chew and CAN be trusted to be left out in the house while you are away. I get soooo excited when I see people that I wag just the tip of my tail so fast and so furiously, that you can hear the thump, thump, thump of it from the next room. I am full of cuddles and I love being part of the family. I have lots of energy and like to explore outside but also love snuggling up on the couch, especially under the blanket! I am crate trained, house trained, and have my basic home life skills down pat! I am a fabulous family dog but my only firm requirement is that I will be the only dog in the house.
