Stormy has had some cloudy days and deserves to be in a home where she'll be the sunshine in her family's life!
Stormy came to our shelter after being found outside, very pregnant and injured. MHS gave her the medical care she needed and Stormy made a full recovery. Stormy loves walking around our cat room, jumps up and loves to explore. She occasionally enjoys being when she's feeling comfortable. One of our staff members has formed a bond with her and she will allow pets quite frequently, but it took some time for Stormy to allow this. She does not like being picked up, but she will offer her head for skritches and meow her adorable little "kitten" meow. We just know the right family is out there, and ready to love Miss Stormy!
Stormy's ideal home would be a cat savvy, adult only or older, respectful children household and a kitty friend or two!

Our Cat adoption fees are:
$215for Kittens (6wks-6Months)
$170 for Adults (7Months - 7yrs)
$95 for Senior/Special Needs
Our Dog adoption fees are:
$395 for Puppies (8wks-15Months)
$295 for Adults (16Months-10yrs)
$125 for Senior/Special Needs

We believe it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless cats and dogs, and to place them in loving permanent homes.
We provide spay and neuter services and any and all necessary medical care for pets.
We work diligently to educate the public on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership, Disease control, as well as the Humane Treatment of Animals.
