Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Now entering the Adoption Ring is Oliver!!!Qualifying in the Lightweight Yorkie Class, at a spry 2 Yrs Old, weighing in at 10 lbs, and flashing his handsome tan and black colors, Oliver is ready to knock you out with his charisma and cuteness! He is neutered, micro-chipped, and fully vaccinated! Oliver was an Amish Puppy Mill release so the free world is all new to him! He was quick to show his curiosity and charm, and after a few days and some patience I’ve already seen him make huge strides in adapting to his new life: He’s a fast learner (he’s already mastering walking on a leash, and he’s in the process of potty training), he’s not a picky eater, he will surprise you with session of playfulness (his favorite toy is a pink tennis ball), he enters his crate on his own to take naps, he’s completely comfortable around our other dogs, and he loves a good scratching or massage! Oliver is working on gaining his confidence in approaching people, but he’s such a naturally curious and loving boy that it only took a couple of days before he began following us around! Once he warms up to you, he may want to spend every moment by your side; don't hate him for falling in love with humans! We think he’d be a good fit with just about anybody! He will need a human partner to show him the basics of good living like routine in going out to potty, taking walks, and learning the 'basics'. He is eager to learn.Oliver has great potential as a family dog as well. He’s very laid back, and the only time he gets scared is if you try to pick him up from behind or sneak up on him. Makes sense as we wouldn't like to be sneaked up on either! If you give him a little time to warm up toyou, you'll have a best friend for life! Oliver is being fostered in Lindenhurst, IL with Jill Clark jilljclark20@gmail.com 847-772-2098 and his adoption fee is $450.
