My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stratus is SO soft and she loves a good conversation with cats and people. She will also come for pets on her time. Gray is her best friend but they both get along with our other adult cat. They have about 30 minutes of Zoomies every morning.

We are training them to run for treats. The treats skip across our tile floor and the cats hunt for them and chase them.

Since we are a foster-based rescue, viewing our animals online to find one that you are interested is best. Once you have found an animal you would like to adopt, complete the application by visiting our website at: hhsanimals.org and clicking on the animals picture. We will review it and forward to the animal's foster and have them contact you to go over the next steps.
Our adoption fees are:

Dogs and puppies = $175 + tax
Cats and kittens = $105 + tax

Adoption fees for purebred animals and out-of-state adoptions will be different than those listed above.

These fees include all age appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter. We have discounted adoption fees for senior citizens and senior animals.

SInce the vast majority of our animals are kept in foster homes, it's best to contact us at: info@hhsanimals.org to inquire about meeting an animal. You can also visit some of our available pets at one of our weekly adoption events at either the Petsmart or Petco stores near Bandera Rd and 1604 in far NW San Antonio on Saturday's from 12:00-3:00.
