Dinah –this beautiful feline with the striking colors in her coat and deep golden eyes that seem to glow, is a little shy with strangers, but warms up quickly when she gets to know someone. She likes playing with frilly feather toys and especially likes treat time. She enjoys lounging in the screened area where she can watch everyone coming and going. She likes to be petted by staff and volunteers. Come meet Dinah and see for yourself what a nice kitty she is.

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
