Meet Bear
Handsome Bear is a Wheaten Terrier mix who has been waiting patiently for his forever family for over 2 years. Now about 5 years old, he originally came to us when his owner could no longer care for him. Since then, Bear has learned a lot, but he’s still searching for that very special home.
⨠A little about Bear:
Big, strong boy at ~65 lbs
Needs a secure fenced-in yard (no leash walks for this guy!)
Must be in a cat-free home
Has separation anxiety, so he’d thrive with someone home most of the time
Loves being close to his person and will be your loyal shadow
Bear will need patience, structure, and a slow introduction to help him adjust and succeed. We know his unicorn home is out there, and until then, he’s safe, happy, and loved with us.
Our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary.
Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies.
Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada.
Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application.
