My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Bear
Age: 5 1/2 years
Weight: ~65 lbs

Bear is a handsome Wheaten Terrier mix who has been waiting more than two years for his forever family. He came into rescue when his owner could no longer care for him, and he has made steady progress with structure and consistency.

Bear is incredibly loyal and forms a strong bond with his person. He will do best in a home that understands his needs and can provide routine, patience, and gradual introductions.

• Secure fenced yard required (no leash-walk lifestyle)
• Cat-free home
• Prefers an adult home or experienced home (separation anxiety; needs someone home much of the day)
• Strong, athletic dog who benefits from structure

All of our animals receive comprehensive veterinary care prior to adoption, including a full exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, spay or neuter, heartworm testing, and any necessary medical treatment.

A vet reference, home and/or family visit, and an adoption fee are required.

Transport options are available within our operating region, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. We do not adopt animals to Canada.

For more information or to submit an application, please visit www.pmarinc.org.

All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary. Additional adoption info

We at Pibbles & More rescue animals from many situations. May it be from a shelter, bad home, or an unwanted furbaby... Once the animal is in our rescue they get the best treatment, care, love & training we can supply... So we work hard at finding the RIGHT family & home for our rescued babies. There is an adoption application that will need to be filled out, along with a home visit, vet check, personal references & an adoption donation... This fee varies from dog to dog. All our rescued animals are on flea/HW preventive Utd on shots and spayed or neutered... also all our animals are in foster care so this way we know the right home for each of our Furbabies.
