My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Trout came from a ranch with too many cats and kittens and was in danger of being drowned, but was rescued and brought to safety. We were contacted to see if we could help and we were able to take him and his littermate Oslo. Trout is a sweet, purry little guy who is due for his vetting the week of 9/18 but can be pre-adopted.

An application, safety homecheck, landlord approval if renting, and and adoption fee are required. Discount to seniors, military/veterans, and with proof of disability.

More about this rescue

We rescue animals from high kill shelters or abandoned local strays and foster them until they find an adoptive home. Our southern branch also goes out on emergency rescue calls for cats in drain and sewer pipes, up trees, stuck in walls etc. Transport in available up and down the state of CA. We also TNR local stray and feral populations. The plight of homeless animals moves us deeply. It is unspeakably horrific to see gentle loving animals killed simply because they are homeless. While we cannot save them all, each one saved deserves it. We are a 501c3 registered, CA non-profit corporation.
