Delilah is a 1-year-old pomeranian/chihuahua mix who is looking for her perfect home. She will need a bit of warm up time to become comfortable, but once she knows you will care for her, she is a sweet and affectionate little girl who will become your shadow. Delilah excels at several things. She is outstanding at giving sneak attack kisses, she is a great couch companion and will keep you company while you watch your favorite shows, and she is a fantastic walking buddy who enjoys brisk (and sometimes not so brisk) jaunts around the neighborhood. Delilah came to us weighing 21 pounds, which is more than she should weigh. She has done great with portion control and exercise, but still needs to drop some pounds so she can achieve a healthier weight. Delilah does seem to be a little more comfortable with females than with males and would probably not do well in a home with young children as fast and sudden movements seem to make her nervous. While she does well with the other dogs in her foster home, she does like to be the one to get all the attention. She may be an excellent fur sibling to another dog who does not take offense to this, but she would also probably do well as the one and only. Delilah can be vocal when expressing her displeasure when you leave her, so apartment life would not be a good fit. Potty training is coming along, but is not yet perfect. She really is very sweet and will make a wonderful little companion. Delilah is up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventative, microchipped, de-wormed and is spayed. Delilah’s adoption fee is $325.00. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS.
