My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kelly!

Kelly is a 5 month old kitten who is very lucky to have been found by Good Samaritans along the side of the road in Kelly's Ford. She was emaciated and had an extremely tight paper collar around her neck that was literally strangling her and preventing her from eating. She was dirty and infested with fleas.

We are guessing that Kelly was somehow lost after a spay/neuter run (she has a tipped ear, meaning that she was spayed and vetted); however, after checking with local rescues, no one has lost a kitten. Kelly came into our care and we see what a sweet girl she is.

Kelly is all white with gray and is happy to be inside and cared for. She is a member of the Clean Plate Award Club and loves to look at the world outside and be petted and loved on. She has a BFF, Victory (also available), with whom she plays Zoomies and Simon Says with often.

She is ready to go home with an approved application now. She is spayed, had her vaccines, tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. You won't need to renew every year - it was done for you.

Please contact us at GoodMews22@aol.com or call us at 540.717.4420 if you would like to meet Kelly. She will make a great companion cat.

More about this rescue

Our rescue is dedicated to the cats that have been forgotten - strays that are shy and frightened, abandoned cats that once had a home and are trying to come into a home for shelter, cats that need a little more TLC than most to trust again.

These cats are struggling on our streets to be noticed, struggling for survival. They need our love, our compassion, our help.

They are the forgotten cats.
The cats that most rescues "don't have time for."

ALL cats deserve love.
ALL cats deserve a good home.
ALL cats deserve to be treated with respect and given care.

Given time, love, and nurturing, these cats become wonderful, loving housecats.

Our rescue is for the forgotten cats. In my home, they are known as the Shrinking Violets, and I have fought for their right to be loved, receive care, and the respect they deserve. Please join me with your support.
