ROBINSON... is a very striking high German Pointer mix. I LOVE HIM!!
1 year of age, weighing 45 lbs on 9/5/23. Robinson and his bro Smokey (also posted for adoption) were found as strays in West Tennessee. Robinson is lighter in color and smaller than his brother. I am so in awe of their beauty! They have a pointer stance/charm that only pointers can claim! They are very sweet, loving boys. In these pictures they had just met their new foster parents at a local Walmart. Robinson will give a kiss and accepts affection. Hunting dogs sometimes are trained to no human affection and it has to be taught. We got these boys very early. They would love bird hunts and seem to possess tracking willingness. We would require GPS tracking if putting them in off leash situations and they need contact info dog tags on them....and I will leave mine on them... We want them primarily kept inside as family members. They have unique in our area the black and white coloring. This is however a color pattern for their breed. I have added in the collage what a breed scanner app suggests for their breed. Also we have a dog showman in our area and he favors the hounds and he agrees high German Pointer. Also a local vet in our area has 2 German Pointers and adores the breed and she agrees they appear of high GP stock. I have listed as mixed with Border Collie.... as the have pretty pointy snouts and the medium length coats They are really great boys who if contained for a bit will settle down quickly when out.
