PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE YOU RESPOND.
It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.
LAURYN HILL and her brother EMINEM were saved by an independent rescuer. They came from a mom at a colony in the area of Lawndale, California. Once the kittens were stable, her rescuer reached out to us. And now they are with our rescue.
LAURYN HILL gets comfortable very quickly and is curious about everything. She can get startled but will come back and investigate. She will then throw herself on the floor and demand attention, come rub on you or walk in between your legs. She can be a super silly and goofy girl. LAURYN HILL is such a sweet love bug. All she wants is pets and love. She comes running when it's time to get her can food. Her purr box is very loud. She's looking for his REAL FUREVER home. LAURYN HILL and EMINEM are identical!!
LAURYN HILL is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / RUSSIAN BLUE MIX. She is about 4 months old. She is good with cats and is non-reactive to dogs. She has never been around children. As stated on our application, we will not do adoptions of kittens under 8 months without a cat / kitten with enough energy to play with him.
LAURYN HILL is currently located at our rescue in Hemet, California.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)
2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

OCTOBERR 2023: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.
Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability.
The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the adoption interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.
Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.
We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
