Hi. My name is Marley. Let me tell you my story. I am around 2. The vet thinks I am a terrier mix. Maybe doodle/schnauzer. If you have looked at my brother Romeo’s story, it is the same sad story. My owner moved and didn’t take us. A relative took us but had too many dogs. One day a person saw us on a road barking. I know she didn’t know that we are nice so she was afraid. Animal Control does not have a contract with the town we were found in so they couldn’t come get us. A really nice couple took us in just so we were safe. My brother Romeo and I are currently living in her fenced in back yard. She says we love to play and lick. I am a little skittish but I have been through so much in the past weeks. Paws stepped up and had us fixed and we got all our shots. The ladies at the vet knew our story and gave us lots of love and special attention. They even kept us an extra night to get our healing started and continue showing us love. My adoption fee is $150 but I really want to stay with my brother. He is scared and feels better with me around. I am the only stable and familiar thing in his life right now. Really, the only stable thing he has had in quite a while. If you adopt the two of us together, there will be a discount. Please consider me/us. Don’t be afraid to consider my brother. He is a sweetie just like me. He has been so grateful to our rescuers.
