My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Pepper! This precious peanut is roughly 12 weeks old, 9lbs and a hound mix. She will be medium sized as an adult, most likely in the 40-50lb range. She found herself at a local shelter after being picked up as a stray, then she made her way into our care and hasn’t looked back!

Here is what her foster mom has to say about her, and we can tell you it is nothing but glowing praise, because her foster mom says she is amazing! She is honestly just the chillest puppy you will meet, so very mellow. Sure, she has puppy energy of course like every puppy does, but at her core, she is just an old soul I think. She is doing amazingly with house training, already signaling at the door when she needs out, doesn't seek out stuff or try to chew on things that aren't toys, sleeps through the night (with one potty break)/for all naps without fuss in her crate, and has since day one, and shockingly does not puppy bite at all which is something one doesn’t see very often. She loves my personal dog and plays extremely well with her, does well with the cats in the home, and just in general is the easiest little keeper you will meet. I can't remember the last time I had a puppy this amazing!

Pepper is so sweet and cuddly, always wiggling at you and seeking out attention, and there has never been a puppy who gives better kisses! She is all about covering you in kisses at all times, she will even stop mid play without you prompting it to come wiggling over and give you kisses, it's seriously the cutest! The only area she falls behind is she is shy when first meeting new people, it takes a bit for her to warm up, but I am really proud of her always trying even when she's unsure, she will very cautiously approach the person and sniff them. I don't think she had much exposure to the world before coming here, which would explain this behavior. So that is something to be aware of, but I don’t see it holding her back as she learns about the world more. She is a good one, whoever gets to be her forever family is going to be so lucky!

She will be up to date on age appropriate shots, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350
