My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Courtesy Post!** Hi! This is Chico. He’s about 1 year old and weighs 10 pounds. He is up to date on shots, microchipped, neutered & crate trained. Has also had two vet visits. His perfect home would be with an adult lady who would give him a ton of attention. He loves to sit with you, lay under the blankets, and be carried. He is working on potty training, and working on his leash skills. He doesn’t like to be walked on a leash. Chico is a darling little dog. As you can see he is very affectionate and loving. He craves attention. He will not do well with kids. But, he likes other dogs as long as they are small. Cats are okay. Chico needs a fenced yard…no electronic fencing. No wrought iron; he’s too small. We want Chico to have an owner who will be with him for the next 16-17 years. They have to be able to “go the distance”! There is a small rehoming fee. His adopter must be able to drive to the Clovis, New Mexico area to get him. If you are interested in adopting Chico please email his owner and they will send you an adoption application.
