My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have welcomed "Julie" to Four Peaks Animal Rescue. She is a spayed, female, white Doberman Pinscher. Julie is still on medical hold till we can get her completely checked out by our Veterinarians.
We are guessing she is approx. 5 yrs old. She has a nurturing sweet way about her. Julie does like to play with her Standard Poodle roommate. It is Julie that will often initiate play with the other dogs that she feels comfortable with. She plays for short periods of time & doesn't play too rough.

She doesn't seem to mind being alone for short periods of time as long as she has access to a dog door. We would love to see her find a nice older couple with a grass fenced yard. Julie likes to be close to her people. She doesn't care if you are a woman or man... just wants to be close.

Due to Julie's lack of pigmentation she will need to be an indoor dog. Short early walks on cooler day hours would be best for her. Julie is a bit far sited but it doesn't interfere with her daily life. She was used as a breeder at some point in her life. She is super respectful of all dogs (large and small), goats and visitors. She isn't much of a watch dog, but this could change once she finds a family that she can call her own. We have Allie cat that will stand her own that Julie respects. We also have a skittish kitty that she is too forward with so she'll need a home that has a cat that will hold its personal space. Julie is a bit over weight but she is slowly taking it off with a good basic diet and rationed daily food intake. Julie has a fun personality... almost a mature clownishness. If you would like more information about Julie. Please go to Fourpeaksanimalresuce.org and fill out an adoption application. Thanks for your time.
