My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

ALDER hails from Wasagamack and came down south with his brother to find his forever home. He’s had his first vaccine, he’s microchipped and been deemed healthy by the vet and ready to find his family. There’s no knowledge on his parents as he was found without either of them so we’re not certain about his breed or the size he will grow to be.
ALDER is a super sweet boy who’s pretty out going but still not as much as other puppies his age. He’s curious, snuggly, smart and very loveable. He was quite timid when he went to his foster home but with the help of the other dogs in the home, he’s slowly starting to be more interactive with his people. He’s with dog savvy cats and they all get along well so as long as the cats are the same in his new home, they should all get along. Children aged 6 and up for our puppies and they should be gentle and considerate too.
ALDER sleeps quietly through the night in a covered crate and will also go in it during the day for a nap. He now knows it’s his safe place to go or just a place to chill out. Housetraining is a work in progress due to his young age but he’s constantly taken outside and he seems to be understand that’s the time to use the bathroom. He’s had a few pack walks and is doing well with the leash walking. He has lots of puppy energy so he would love his family to be active and take him on lots of walks, hikes and adventures. He’s only been in a vehicle a few times but he did travel well.

We need his family to be committed to get him the obedience training he needs to help him be the best boy he can be. Ideally someone would be home most of the day to continue his housetraining and help him with his socialization skills. His neuter is included in his adoption fee and will be performed by the time he’s 6 months of age and we need you to be in agreement with this as part of his adoption agreement.
ALDER would love to be the snuggle bug in your home so if you think he sounds like your type of guy then please fill out the adoption application to meet him.
