My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Squirrel and her daughter Nougat are darling girls! Squirrel was rescued with Chip (who has since been adopted) living under a car. Squirrel gave birth 2 days after she and Chip were rescued. Squirrel and Nougat are adorable together. They love to binky and explore. They prefer to keep all 4 paws on the ground but will take treats from your hand. They would prefer a mellow home. Message if you'd like to meet them!

Their adoption process

1.

Interview

Inquire about a pet through the site and we'll set up a call to learn about you and schedule a time for you to meet a bunny.

2.

Home Check

We require a brief video "home visit" to see your setup and confirm you're ready to bring a bunny home! We can also do this as a first step.

3.

Meet the Pet

Additional adoption info

We are a foster-based rescue. We do not have a shelter. Get in touch to set up a meeting to see our bunnies!

More about this rescue

Our rescue started in 2019 when an out of control breeding situation required help. We helped a homeowner get 100+ bunnies fixed and into homes. The need is so great in our county that we kept rescuing.

We adopt to indoor homes because:
- your bunny should be a part of your family! They will be happy, safe.
- Florida temperatures are too extreme for domestic rabbits.
- a hutch is not enough! Buns need space for exercise, social interaction, protection from the elements, mites, fleas, predators, and diseases.
