My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This friendly, fabulous girl came from our third round of confiscation in the hoard + neglect case. She is calm, loving, & most importantly… so, so grateful to be out of her worst nightmare.

Originally Melanie had her own bedroom as she preferred to not be around the other bunnies or in an exercise pen, she thrived being part of a household and genuinely loves her foster family.

Recently some life circumstances have changed in her foster home, and Melanie is no longer able to have a whole room to herself, and she has slowly lost her spunk and joy for foster care. She is in a double-wide exercise pen but continues trying to escape.

Melanie greatly enjoys having time to explore/free-roam because of this, we do require that she can free-roam in her forever. She will happily take all of the attention to herself & therefore does prefer to be an only bunny.

Melanie has glaucoma—but that is easily managed by administering eye drops to her eyes twice a day (they only cost $25 per month!)—but she can promise one thing; she will love you unconditionally. Step a foot in her direction & she will be sure to greet you in hopes that her cuteness will convince you to let her out of her enclosure! Does your calm home have the space for the world’s best companion? If you said “yes!”, then what are you waiting for? Apply to adopt this grateful girl today!

Apply to adopt Melanie today! We only adopt to homes that will allow free roam and/or at least 60 square feet. No cages or small areas!
