Stanza is a sweet, cuddly, playful, mischievous girl who needs someone willing to give her the attention and care she deserves. Toss a spring, roll a ball or wave a wand - interactive play is her favorite thing! After a brief respite napping on a lap, she is back at play. She adores the large dog in her foster home and loves playing with the other cats in the house. Looking for more than one? She would pair well with her foster-mate Betty Boop.
Stanza was adopted previously as a young kitten but was surrendered back to us when her new family could not afford the emergency surgery needed to save her life. She developed a rare condition called intussusception (where a portion of the intestine telescoped in on itself) and needed emergency surgery to remove a large portion of her intestine. Surgery was successful and she has made a full recovery! To help her digestive system stay in balance she is on a restricted prescription food which may be needed for the remainder of her life.
