My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vega is currently in puppy training to help her be the model puppy in her future new home. She loves to play with other dogs and is friendly with everyone after a shy moment at initial introductions. Vega is house and kennel trained and will be spayed before joining her new family.

STLRR has been adopting out dogs from our program to out of State families for many years. All dogs in our program are available for transport, that we arrange, unless otherwise noted. There is a transport fee of $250 for dogs going out of state.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Most of the dogs in our program are located at our home-like facility outside of Houston. We do ask that adopters submit adoption applications prior to scheduling an appointment to visit.

More about this rescue

STLRR started nearly 20 years ago as a breed specific organization but has grown over the years to include any and all breeds, shapes and sizes. We happily adopt out to families in our local area and all across the United States and Vancouver, British Columbia.
