My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Basil is an older gentleman that found himself in a rural shelter. He is said to be 7 years old and around 60lbs. He is listed as a border collie in his paperwork. I feel he may be older or he has had a very rough start in life.

Basil has cauliflower ears and doesn't hear all that well and his coat still needs some work but he is such an amazing and sweet guy. He did great at the groomers and he is fine with other dogs.

If you are looking for a buddy to just hang and chill with, he is up for that. Basil is very food and treat motivated. He loves short walks and laying in front of the fan.
