My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, I'm Azora, a spirited 3-year-old Pit Mix with a heart full of love and a zest for life! I'm ready to bring a whole lot of joy and companionship into your life.

I've got energy to spare and a playful spirit that's infectious! Whether it's a game of fetch, a run in the park, or some exciting outdoor activities, count me in. I'm ready to be your active partner, joining you on adventures and keeping the good times rolling.

My walker described me as a very friendly and sweet girl, and I wear that title proudly! I'm a people-lover through and through, and I can't wait to be your loyal and affectionate companion. My charming smile and expressive ears are just a glimpse of the warmth I'll bring into your life.

I'll be honest - I can get a bit reactive around other dogs, so it's important to introduce me to new furry friends with care. My walker noted that I might do better with some space from other dogs. A bit of patience and gradual socialization might be the key to helping me feel more comfortable around my four-legged counterparts.

I am heartworm positive but the treatment for that if provided by the shelter once I'm adopted. You just have to make sure you have time to bring me in for two sperate treatments. The adoption staff can go over that with you in more detail.

I'm looking for a loving and patient home where my energy and affection will be cherished. While I might need some extra guidance when it comes to interacting with other dogs, I promise to shower you with love and companionship. If you're willing to work with me, I'll be a loyal and devoted friend for life.
