My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***ALL ADOPTION FEES ARE WAIVED***
Sweet Pearl is quiet and reserved initially, but she likes gentle head rubs. She is very smart, and bring out the treats and she comes running! She likes the keep her area tidy and has great litterbox habits.
She would do best in a quiet home where she can enjoy life together with her husbun Jasper.
Pearl is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated against RHDV.
Pearl and Jasper are bonded and need to be adopted together.
If you would like to meet Pearl and Jasper, please email napabunnies@gmail.com or complete our adoption application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BUN/Rabbit

More about this rescue

Napa Bunnies was founded in November 2019 when several individuals came together to clear a rabbit dump site in the city of Napa and get the rescued rabbits spayed/neutered and adopted into safe indoor homes.
Towards the end of our mission, it became clear that there was a need to continue to help rabbits in the Napa area and beyond through education and advocacy. Napa Bunnies continues to rescue and rehome rabbits, but instead of being just another brick-and-mortar rescue, the focus is on health and the education on the proper and responsible care of rabbit companions.
The organization has partnered with a veterinarian to offer wellness and vaccination clinics. A thorough annual exam can identify health issues early on, which can then be addressed. The idea is that a healthy rabbit is less likely to be abandoned by their guardian; and that accessibility to a rabbit savvy veterinarian or cost should never be an impediment.
