My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

-Personality: Rocky loves people! He is silly, goofy, rowdy, happy-go-lucky, and eager to please. Rocky listens to commands and takes corrections well.

-Best fit: With Rocky's past owner, he was kenneled most of the day, which was frustrating for him and made him act out. In this setting, he wasn't the best around kids. Rocky is a strong guy with lots of energy and might not be the best fit for senior citizens.

-Can live with cats: Unknown, ask for a cat test.

-Can live with dogs: Most likely, no.

-Can do apartment living: Rocky loves being outside, so access to a fenced yard area would be ideal.

-Energy level: 4-5/5

-Things they love: Rocky enjoys playing outside with toys.

-Things they dislike: Rocky doesn't like when people try to take his toys away.

More about this shelter

Since 1897, the Spokane Humane Society has extended the hand of kindness to stray and unwanted animals in the greater Spokane Area. The Society shelters and cares for companion animals, transfers stray animals from animal control when they are out of space, operates a low-income spay and neuter clinic and educates the public about humane issues and responsible pet care.
