My story

Birdie and her siblings came to Sky Sanctuary after being discovered all alone at six weeks old near the Mexico border. We were greatly concerned about Birdie specifically because she was a sixth of the size of her siblings. We sought out answers at from many doctors thinking "there has to be a reason she is so tiny." We checked her brain, her thyroid, her bloodwork, the list goes on... and ultimately Birdie proved to just be a tiny but healthy girl. Don't let her size fool you, this little girl has a larger than life personality. She loves to play with other animals, is perfectly appropriate + I will never claim a puppy is potty trained but she catches on really quickly!
