Chandler was found wandering the streets with another dog (Joey) , both scared and running on the side of the road. A kind samaritan caught them and made sure they were safe, and then reached out to us to see if we could help. We took them in and tried to locate the owners, and were thrilled when we were able to find them! Sadly, after weeks of communication, it was clear they had no intention of ever picking them up, and Joey and Chandler were officially considered abandoned.
Chandler is around 2 years old, and 15 lbs. He is a small mixed breed, although we have no way of confirming his breeds, we think he might have some Cocker Spaniel in him.
We don't know what Chandler has gone through but he can be very very shy at first. And it took him about a week before he felt comfortable with us petting him, so a home that lets him come out of his shell slowly is the best fit for him.
He loves to cuddle, play with toys, and follow you around.
He does okay with other laid back dogs, but needs slow introductions, but also doesn't mind being your one and only.
His $300 adoption fee includes him being up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered and dewormed. Please let us know if you would like to meet this sweet guy and give him a forever home.
