Adorable Abby - a loving 7 year-old Weimaraner with a soulful past and eyes that tell tales. Born into a life of breeding in Mexico, Abby's initial years weren't filled with the love and warmth that every dog deserves.
Abby's striking appearance, with those profound, beautiful eyes, stands in contrast to the cruelty she once endured. Now healthy, spayed, vaccinated and at a comfortable 68 lbs, Abby has began a new chapter - one of second chances, and hope.
Now, amidst her canine siblings and doting foster, Abby is steadily learning what it means to be cherished. But with memories of her past still echoing, Abby would thrive best in an adult-only home where the rhythms of life are gentle, and full of love and understanding.

We are a committed group of dog lovers who have decades of experience in dog rescue, volunteering at animal shelters and owning rescue dogs. Most recently, our two founders, have been working with rescuing dogs from Mexico and the Asian dog meat trade as well as California kill shelters, Midwest puppy mill breeder releases and rehoming owner surrendered dogs in Washington and Oregon.
Deciding that we are able to rescue more by combining forces, Pacific Rim Rescue was formed. Our mission is to rescue dogs from devastating conditions from countries of the Pacific Rim.
We are committed to providing foster homes, veterinary and behavioral training for these dogs, so that they may live happy and fulfilling lives in their forever homes.
