Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Baxter is a 3 year old male cat who was rescued after showing up at a kind persons job site. He is in a foster home with both small dogs and cats. It takes him awhile to warm up to new animals but he was recently introduced to 2 new foster cats in his foster home and is doing great with them! He would prefer that other animals respect his personal space and he will let them know when they are too close. Baxter just wants to be with his person!
Foster mom says he has become quite the lap cat. It doesn’t matter if she is holding 3 dogs on her lap, Baxter finds a way to get in her lap for some snuggles. He does love to play with the cat toys, just lounge around on the back of the couch, look out the window and watch the birds. Since he was found outside, he will need a diligent owner who will make sure he doesn’t escape out an open door. We recommend no young children who could accidently let him outside. He would do fine with older children/teens. Apply today to meet this sweet gentleman.
If you are interested in meeting Baxter, please fill out an application via our website at https://therescueproject.net/adoptionapplication and we will get back to you via email once your application has been reviewed. If you have further questions please feel free to reach out to us at adoptionstrp@gmail.com. This will get you the fastest response.
Baxter's adoption fee is $75 and includes age appropriate vaccines, neuter, microchip, and testing for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus.
All cats adopted from The Rescue Project are intended to be indoor only cats.
