Sometimes we wonder why pets still love humans when they have been mistreated by the worst people among us. Jack was found as a stray, and he had been shot with a BB gun. He recovered fully from a minor wound, but you can tell when you meet him that he is shy and retiring until he learns that you mean him no harm. He is a quiet, gentle, affectionate and retiring soul who wants nothing but affection and will give it back tenfold. Jack is estimated to be 3 years old, and weighs about 43 pounds. His underbite makes him less photogenic, but you will never meet a sweeter dog.
