My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Affectionate, Social, Snuggle King

Ready to feel like the most cherished, spectacular and loved-to-the-max human ever? Do It For Johnny knows just how to do it!

Johnny warms up quickly to new people, making everyone he encounters feel special, and will readily request affection. He loves getting pets and snuggles and will charm you with his purr song, which he plays often! He is a master head booper and likes to rub up against you. When you walk around the house, this little guy will be right by your side. He loves being with his person and is ready to hang out whenever and wherever you are.

Johnny is curious about the world and likes looking through the window to see what’s happening outside. He thoroughly investigates his toys and then simply must play with them! He has a chill personality and is flexible and undemanding. He does well with adults and kids, but he is also fine being left alone.

You won’t find a more well-behaved kitty than Johnny. He has wonderful litterbox manners and is so low-maintenance. He is an absolute cutie pie who you may find plopped down in the sink as if he’s discovered the most perfect bed or planted in the middle of your yoga mat - more likely so if you’re about to use it! He enjoys a refreshing drink out of the kitchen faucet.

Johnny is such a well-rounded, gentle spirit who is endlessly pleasant, cheery and loving. If you’re looking for a loyal cuddlemate who will always remind you of the sweeter side of life, Do It for Johnny is just the tabby to do it! Contact us for an introduction!

Do It For Johnny has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Do It For Johnny can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
