My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The sweetest Grecian god you’ll ever meet, Zeus is ready to find his forever home! This calm, affectionate boy is the perfect balance of cuddly and independent. Whether he’s lounging on his dog bed, stretching out on the sofa, or curling up for snuggles, Zeus is always content to be near his people.

Zeus is a pro at life’s basics—he’s potty trained, crate trained, and walks wonderfully on leash, with just a little nervousness around loud or fast-moving vehicles. Treats are his ultimate motivator, making training and distractions a breeze. He’s mastered commands like “sit,” “stay,” “shake,” “lay down,” “place,” and “wait” (perfect for those crosswalks!).

This stuffy-loving sweetheart adores his toys so much that he’ll bring them along on walks and car rides, and he sleeps surrounded by his six favorite plush friends every night. Zeus has a gentle, calm play style with other dogs and is perfectly behaved when left home alone. He’s happy to nap, listen to music, or watch a show while you’re away.

Zeus does have a bit of stranger danger, so he needs time to warm up to new people. But once you’re in his circle, you’re his best friend for life! He’s incredibly easygoing with his humans, loves being touched, and even enjoys wearing clothes.

Zeus’s ideal home is a low-traffic environment with no cats or small children (teenagers are okay!) and a relaxed dog companion who’s up for an occasional romp or wrestle.

Everyone who meets Zeus falls head over heels for him—follow his foster journey at @casa_de_mi_perro and see why you’ll want to make him part of your family ASAP! Apply today to meet this wonderful boy!
